The 4-day tour is arranged in north-western area taking you to such places as Mai Chau valley, Pu Luong nature reserve and Tam Coc, Ninh Binh province. Lotussia Travel includes in the tour different travel activities such as trekking, river boat trip, homestay in local stilt house, cycling. The multisport tour can be booked all year round. Contact your Lotussia Travel consultant for further details.

Day 1: Hanoi – Maichau – Puluong Nature Reserve.Trekking to Hang village (L,D)

8:00: You will be met up by Lotussia Travel team at your hotel in Hanoi.

Depart for Pu Luong Nature Reserve. This scenic drive takes around four hours. Along the way we pass fields of tapioca and sugar cane as well as rice paddies.

Lunch will be provided in a stilt house in Poom Coong village, Mai Chau.

Following lunch, we drive further into the reserve where we begin our trek. We trek for approximately three hours before arriving at the Thai village of Hang.

We spend the night with a local Thai family who will be our host in a traditional house on stilts. Whilst enjoying their hospitality we will discover a little more about their lives and culture.

Day 2: Trekking from Hang village to Kho Muong village (B,L,D)

Today we will walk for about six hours. Along the way we pass through several Thai villages and hamlets before arriving at the village of Kho Muong. As the name suggests this is a Muong minority village and we will be their guests for the night.

Day 3: Trekking to Pho Doan. Travel to Tamcoc (B,L,D)

This morning we set out from Kho Muong and trek for roughly three hours and a half before arriving in Pho Doan townlet where your lunch will be provided in a local house.

After breakfast, we will take a motorbike-taxi to La Han ferry where our car will be waiting for us for our journey to Tam Coc (“Halong bay in-land”).

Dinner & overnight in Tamcoc.

Day 4: River boat trip. Countryside cycle. Return to Hanoi (B,L)

After breakfast, we will have a two-hour boat trip along the Boi river.

The river trip in Tam coc is wonderful for photo hunters, especially when local people come to harvest the water rice planted along the river, or when they transplant some seedling for the next crops. The tourists often compare the place with Guilin – China, or more closely, to the limestone islets of Halong Bay in the Tonkin Gulf for their similar geological structures and shapes.

Then enjoy one-hour bicycle trip through rural villages before arriving Hoalu ancient capital.

Lunch will be provided in a local restaurant in Hoa Lu. Return to Hanoi. End of Lotussia Travel service.
